This last weekend our family took a much anticipated vacation to Toronto. We stayed at Travelodge and watched some planes from our window. We were on the tenth floor. Saturday we went to Swiss Chalet for supper and went back to the motel and had a swim in their indoor heated pool. It was nice. Only one other family was there so we had plenty of room. With us was one of my sister's friends, Amanda Peters. The five of us older girls stayed in one room and my parents and the younger three kids were in the other room. Us girls took advantage of the situation to watch TV, which we did until midnight. For breakfast we went to Casey's which was part of Travelodge. It was good there. I had blueberry pancakes with sausages and green tea. We had another swim and packed up, stopped at a McDonald's just out of Toronto for lunch, and made it home.
While I was collecting my stuff from the van, I realized my purse was missing! Imagine my horror when I figured I must have left it at McDonald's! We called there and they told us it had been found and that they had it in their safe. Phew! Me and Dad set off right away to go right back where we came from. It took us another over three hours of driving to get it and come back. Talk about embarrassing! There was nothing missing, though, which was nice. Those are my adventures for these last few days. Hope you enjoyed them.
